With country star Vince Gill and Sweethearts of the Rodeo's Janis Oliver for parents, you could say Jenny Gill comes by music naturally. But in her adorable (and first-ever!) new music video for the jazzy song "Lonely Lost Me," part of her debut album, The House Sessions, the 34-year-old establishes a personal style that sets her apart from her famous parents.

"People have a preconceived perception of me because of my name, that I am country or that my talent should be at a certain place because of my parents' accomplishments," Gill said in a press release. "It's hard to get people to notice you on your own and not for being a plus-one. So that is what The House Sessions is attempting to do."

The happy video stars a third generation of the Gill family: Jenny's son, Wyatt, to whom the singer dedicated the song—in fact, the two-year-old inspired the EP.

"The final motivation to actually get my music out there definitely came from my son," Gill told Rolling Stone Country. "The pride I feel for my parents, I want Wyatt to feel that way about me."

The House Sessions is available now.
