• The kids of The Brady Bunch reunited in Los Angeles at the home featured in the sitcom.
  • The iconic house will be renovated in HGTV's new show, A Very Brady Renovation.
  • The network nabbed it a hard-fought bidding war with Lance Bass.

Here's the story—of a great reunion!

Some of the original cast members of The Brady Bunch got together Thursday for the first time in nearly 15 years at the beloved Brady home, of course.

Television siblings Barry Williams (Greg), Maureen McCormick (Marcia), Christopher Knight (Peter), Eve Plumb (Jan), Mike Lookinland (Bobby) and Susan Olsen (Cindy) toured the house from their legendary sitcom before it gets renovated in HGTV's A Very Brady Renovation.

They joined network stars Jonathan and Drew Scott of Property Brothers, Mina Starsiak and Karen E Laine of Good Bones, Leanne and Steve Ford of Restored by the Fords, Jasmine Roth of Hidden Potential, and Lara Spencer of Flea Market Flip for the tour of the home.

HGTV snapped up the iconic house in a bidding war with Lance Bass. The former 'NSYNC member penned a lengthy note on social claiming he was "heartbroken" over the outcome.

"How is this fair or legal??" he wrote. "How can I compete with a billion dollar corporate entity? I truly believe I was used to drive up the price of the home knowing very well that this corporation intended on making their offer and it's not a good feeling. I feel used but most importantly I'm hurt and saddened by this highly questionable outcome. I just hope it's not demolished."

But when Bass found out it was HGTV that got the home, he couldn't remain upset.

"HGTV??! Aw man. I’d be pretty upset if it were anyone else, but how can you be mad at HGTV??" he tweeted. "My television is stuck on that channel. Kudos HGTV, I know you will do the right thing with the house. That was always my biggest worry. I can smile again."

HGTV calls A Very Brady Renovation "one of the biggest programming events" it has ever undertaken and will "feature additional surprise celebrity guests," according to a network announcement.

The home will get a "far out" 70s-inspired rehab. The transformation will include adding on an additional 2,000 square feet to the original structure, all "without compromising its instantly recognizable street view," according to HGTV.

The renovation will honor many of the home's most beloved characteristics, like the iconic wood-paneled living room with floating staircase, the orange and green kitchen, and kids’ Jack-and-Jill bathroom.

"What’s so exciting about this project is that we are creating one of the most iconic homes from many of our viewers’ childhoods," Loren Ruch, senior vice president of HGTV programming and partnerships, said in the press release. "It will be the first time in history that the house from all of our memories will be created in a real brick and mortar location. It is certain to be a trip down memory lane."

A Very Brady Renovation is scheduled to premiere in September 2019.
