Every parent is all too familiar with the banality of the carpool line and the doldrums of slowly inching along as your kids scream in the backseat. Let's just say it's not something that we particularly look forward to every day.

North Carolina parents Gabriel and Heather Rael feel your pain and decided to do something about it by creating a business venture so smart we can't believe we didn't think of it first: a carpool food truck, where parents can get coffee while they wait to drop off their kids.

In an interview withTODAY, Heather said: "My husband was waiting in line recently to pick up our daughter and seeing all the cars just sitting there. He thought it would be nice to be able to get out of his car and get something to drink. He also remembered when I was a teacher and I always wanted a place where I could get a good cup of coffee, so hence the coffee truck at the school."

The couple named their truck Caffe Ole and have been excitedly welcomed by parents and teachers alike. Fellow carpooler Leigh Fickling echoes our sentiments: "The first day I ordered coffee, I got to the school about 10 minutes before the law and order of the car line began," she told TODAY. "I pulled right up to the cute, little truck and proudly marched over, debit card in hand. As I threw my passengers out and wished them a happy day, I took a big gulp of my coffee and smiled because I knew that I would have a happy day, too."

For those parents who might be thinking that the truck could cause additional traffic to an already chaotic line, the Raels thought of that. They park in the back of the lot and parents can grab a coffee after they've dropped their kids off (or before, for those real go-getter types).

While the Raels initially started the food truck to get to know the community better after moving from New Mexico, it's now become a staple in their town of Hillsborough—and all we can say is that we hope this idea pops up in our carpool lines soon.
