Fixer Upper hosts Chip and Joanna Gaines dropped major news last night: They're expecting a baby! Their fifth child will join siblings Drake (12), Ella Rose (11), Duke (9), and Emmie Kay (7).

We still don't know if Baby Gaines is a boy or a girl, but as Joanna captioned her sonogram on Instagram, Chip claims he can tell it's the former.

Considering the couple's current birth order (boy, girl, boy, girl), a bouncing baby boy would seem to be next in line, but there's always a possibility that this little one will break the streak.

Whether the nursery's shiplap will be pink or blue, we're already dreaming about what the Gaineses will name their new bundle of joy. So far, the pair tends to choose one-syllable D-names for boys, two-syllable E-names for girls. Still, we could see the creative stars surprising us yet again with something completely different. Here are a few guesses based on baby name trends and what we know about Chip and Jo.

Names for Baby Boy Gaines

David or Daniel: They may be more traditional than "Drake" or "Duke," but both David and Daniel have biblical roots—and we know faith is important to the family.

Dominic: This title strikes the perfect balance between old and new, much like Joanna's designs.

Dag: If Chip and Jo decide to stick to short D-names, Dag would be a natural addition to Drake and Duke.

Silas: Or, maybe they'll break the pattern and choose something more unexpected, such as Silas, a play on the Magnolia Silos. After all, Chip did reveal that the couple conceived the child after Johnnyswim's "romantic" performance at this year's Silobration. Plus, Nameberry predicts that monikers beginning with "S" will be big in 2018.

Johnny: For that matter, maybe they'll name Baby No. 5 Johnny after the headliner. We do know that Chip and Jo are sentimental. They called their eldest son Drake after New York City's historic Drake Hotel, where they stayed on their honeymoon.

Names for Baby Girl Gaines

Esther: Esther was a hero in the Old Testament and has a throwback feel we think Joanna would appreciate. Seriously, how sweet would "Essie" for short sound in succession with her sisters?

Eleanor: Nameberry says this strong name is trending in the new year—and it starts with an "E," just like the Gaineses' two older girls. They could also go with the Italian spelling, Elenore, meaning "light," or Eleonora, "shining light," a nice nod to their recent European vacation.

Enna: Speaking of Italy, Enna is a city in Sicily—and a designation that seems to suit the stars' sensibilities.

Ember: This unique honorific contains the traditionally masculine "-er" ending, which makes it a strong contender, as borrowing "boy" names for girls is a popular concept these days. Of course, it could be too similar to Emmie.

Delilah: It's also entirely possible Chip and Jo could swap the genders of the letters and give a girl a name beginning with D like her big brothers.
