Tonight dozens of celebrities teamed up to raise money for Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma relief during the Hand in Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Relief telethon. In between requests for help from celebrities like Reese Witherspoon and Oprah Winfrey, the telethon cut to what, at first, appeared to be Usher covering the Ben E. King classic "Stand By Me" by himself. But after a few seconds, the cameras zoomed out to show Blake Shelton joining in at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee for one of the most beautiful renditions of the song we've ever heard.

Between the cheers in the crowd and the reactions on Twitter, it's clear: America loves this unexpected pairing.

Please, please release this as a single.
