If you love ranch dressing (and honestly, who doesn't?), then we may have found the perfect Halloween costume for you!

Carson Haase, a senior at Brandon Valley High School in Brandon, South Dakota, boldly dressed up as the popular salad condiment on "Ranch Day," part of her school's homecoming spirit week, according to Argus Leader. Rather than dressing like a cowgirl or cowboy like most of her peers, she was inspired to do something different to honor a friend she lost this year.

Carson's friend committed suicide this past March, and she says their friendship taught her that life's too short to care about what others think. Carson thought of the humorous idea, but explained that it was her friend's legacy that encouraged her "live in the moment," and don the over-the-top getup.

"She taught me a lot of things," Carson told the paper. "How to be strong in bad situations [and] that it honestly doesn't matter what people thought because there will always be people that like you anyway."

Despite putting a lot of work into crafting the costume, Carson was nervous to wear it to school until she remembered Brittany. "I think that had a big influence on me actually wearing the costume...that stepping outside your comfort zone and being yourself is important," Carson said. "Turns out, everyone absolutely loved it."

Caron shared her costume on Twitter where the post has now gone viral with over 3,000 likes and hundreds of shares. Hidden Valley even chimed in and expressed their love of it too!
