Definitive Proof That No Place in the World Does Christmas As Well As London
If you've never seen what London looks like at Christmas, prepare to have your mind blown.
If you were under the impression that we are more than a little obsessed with Christmas, then you would be right. And while we, of course, ooh and aah over the Christmas offerings in the U.S. (have you checked our ranking of the best Christmas towns in America?), we're here today to say something that might be a little controversial: We think London does Christmas better than we do. There it is.
We're not city folk, obviously, and if we travel at all during Christmas, we prefer to visit a quaint, small town. But people, have you seen what London does for the holidays? It's utterly spectacular. Because England doesn't celebrate Thanksgiving, Christmas is their time to go all-out for the holiday season—and they totally nail it. Allow us now, if you will, to take you through a virtual tour of the England's capital. Prepare to be stunned.
