When Michael Bublé and Luisana Lopilato's son, Noah, was diagnosed with cancer last year, changes were in store for the Canadian singer's career. In keeping with his promise to continue to care for Noah, ET Canada confirmed that Bublé will no longer be hosting the BRIT Awards. Bublé was expected to return to the stage for the award show on February 22.

Hosting could have been a big career move for the star since previous BRIT Award hosts have included Elton John, The Osbournes, Mick Fleetwood, and Russell Brand, but caring for his 3-year-old son, of course, is infinitely more important.

Bublé gladly accepted his hosting role for the BRIT Awards in October saying, "I've got some big shoes to fill." Yet it would only be weeks later that he would find out his son's diagnosis of liver cancer.

Bublé hasn't released another any official word besides his original statement on Facebook in November regarding Noah's condition. While Bublé continues to remain out of the limelight, we send all the best to him, little Noah, and the rest of the Bublé clan.
